1924.3 | Keizo Yamamoto opened a shop in Tsukiji, Tokyo. |

1941.9 | The company was renamed Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd. Due to imports halted at the start of World War II, a factory was established in Koganei for production of precision tools. Osaka and Nagoya Offices were established. |
1949.2 | Yamamoto & Co., Ltd., spun off from Yamamoto Kogyo Co., Ltd., was reestablished for import business of machine tools. |
1967.9 | New head office including showroom was rebuilt at its current location. The company was renamed Yamamoto & Co., Ltd. |
1977.10 | Yamamoto & Co., Ltd. was reestablished. Liaison Office in Germany was established. |
1988.10 | Sendai Office was established. |
1989.10 | Nagano Office was established. |
1992.12 | New Nagoya Office including showroom was built at its current location. |

Acquisition and subsidiarization of Sun Instruments, Inc. Changed the registered name to YKT CORPORATION. |
2003.10 | Merged with Yamamoto Group Co., Ltd.. YKT CORPORATION became the succeeding company. |
2005.1 | YKT Europe GmbH from Liaison Office was established near Stuttgart, Germany. |
